2021 was a head-scratcher in every meaning of the phrase. If you’re reading this - knuckles 👊, you made it to the other side. “New Year, New You” is my least favorite phrase. The years behind you have shaped you in to the beautiful and expansive individual that you are. It’s time to lean further into that.

Reflect on what you were able to overcome. Breathe through what you survived. Acknowledge how you showed up in hardship. Feel the losses, the triumphs. Allow a shift in perspective to propel you forward into a constant and beautiful evolution of your human experience. Allow the corners of your mouth to raise into a smile for who you have become. 🍯

Join me in the new year for virtual + irl gatherings where we will set our goal-driven intentions for the future by way of reflection, meditation, a guided mindful movement practice, introspection, and a brief introduction to journaling. Be prepared to bring your yoga mat, 2021 calendars and photographs (for reflection) along with a journal / notebook and writing utensil (for paving the way forward). 📝

ABOUT THE HOST

Upon taking her first yoga class in 2010, Rachael quickly fell in love with the practice, completing her 200-hour E-RYT certification with Yoga Alliance in 2013. Through college, a consistent yoga practice kept her grounded and eventually led to guiding her first heated power yoga classes.

After moving to California and spending the past 5 years in a fast-paced career in action sports, Rachael experienced how hard the 9-5 can be on the body and mind. The urge to share a mindful and uplifting yoga practice with others to counterbalance the physical and mental stress we endure on a day to day basis naturally became the foundation of each class.

Rachael now focuses her high-energy and positive personality into guiding classes, workshops, and private sessions offered both virtually and in-person in Los Angeles. She hopes to inspire self-appreciation, the practice of not taking yourself too seriously, as well as physical and mental resilience within each class.

KIND WORDS

“I took Rachael’s intentions workshop at the start of 2020. I have always been an inconsistent journal-er, but a journal-er nonetheless. I had never thought of attending a workshop for such a thing. When I caught wind of this unique intention-setting journaling opportunity I was intrigued. I believe in goal setting as much as the next guy but I never thought I would gain as much as I did out of an hour’s worth of writing. Fast forward 10 months and I stumbled upon the piece of paper that I used during the workshop - the very paper that had my intentions and goals for the new year written before my very eyes. Having not looked back on this in almost a year I was surprised to see how many of those goals and intentions I actually followed through on. It was a good feeling. One that seemed almost bizarre to me. How did I follow these goals and intentions when I haven’t once looked back on what I wrote down? That my friends is called manifestation. And that my friends is the only thing I really needed to get my priorities aligned. One workshop, one piece of paper, one friend, and one way forward. See you there!’ - Evan Campbell, Workshop Attendee
